Sarcomas have more than 70 different subtypes, each with unique characteristics that require evaluation and specialized care. Our course of treatment will depend on your type of cancer, its stage and location, and your overall health. Malignant Fibrous Histiocytoma is a rare sarcoma that often is painless and slow-growing.

Overview

Our treatment plan may include surgery to remove your cancer and a margin of healthy tissue around your tumor. We also may use radiation either before or after surgery as an additional therapy to shrink the tumor before removal or to destroy any remaining cancer cells after surgery. Our goal with be to eliminate or reduce your cancer while maintaining your quality of life.
