Bio

Surabhi Ranjan, MD, is a neuro-oncologist in practice with Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Ranjan earned her medical degree from Seth GS Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India where she received distinctions in biochemistry and ophthalmology. She completed an internship in internal medicine at New York Medical College and Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. She also completed a neurology residency at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. In addition, she recently completed a clinical neuro-oncology fellowship through the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, and the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, in August 2017.

Dr. Ranjan has participated in a number of oncology research studies and was an associate investigator in several research trials on central nervous system tumors. She has been published in medical journals including Frontiers in Oncology and Movement Disorders Clinical Practice, and authored book chapters in MedLink Neurology. She also has presented at various medical conferences. Her clinical interests are adult patients with primary brain tumors, rare central nervous tumors and primary central nervous lymphomas. Her research is focused on clinical trial development for gliomas.

Dr. Ranjan is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society for Neuro-oncology, the American Academy of Neurology and the Indian Society of Neuro Oncology. She is fluent in Hindi as well as English.
